Betawiki:About

Betawiki serves two purposes:

1. Testing platform for the developer who runs it.
2. Testing platform for an extension which provides framework for translating MediaWiki, its extensions and even other projects.

This wiki is not part of the Wikimedia Foundation projects. It is run by Nike and Siebrand, who both are MediaWiki developers. Currently it is mainly Siebrand who pushes messages from this wiki to version control system. The translation functionality is provided by an extension which may, at some point in the future, be integrated into some Wikimedia project.

Due to reason 1. above, this wiki contains experimental code, and/or can be broken occasionally. Please be patient, problems are usually dealt with quickly.
