"Ignored for too long, not considered useful"

Does "for too long" mean "because the message is too long" or "during too much time"?

Some existing translations (at least Dutch and Brazilian Portuguese) translate it as the former, others as the latter, so this needs to be clarified.

(Side note: Since the functionality to jump to editing assistant languages as well as the option to view the message in all languages were removed in the new interface, I am no longer realistically able to fuzzy or correct wrong translations in my 10 or so assistant languages or in others. I could painstakingly find them using the search interface but I am not willing to go to that length.)

"long" is a quality of time here, not of size.
