Hi DCLXVI. Welcome to Betawiki. Before you can use Special:Translate, and Special:Magic, please request translator rights at Betawiki:Translators. Please create a user page on which you describe which language(s) you will be working on. If you are going to be an active user here, please also add your name to the languages you will be working on at Translating:Languages. For an overview of the languages that are being worked on here, you can have a look at Translating:Developer log. Other useful pages can be Support and Import requests.

Once you have started translating, please remember to often request a commit of your translation work at Translating:Tasks. This makes the number of changes easier to handle for the devs.

Editing the system messages with the Translate extension is a bit addictive! I've just mentioned about it to Spiritia and BloodIce and... you can see the result :). Regards, DCLXVI 00:20, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

I know :) And I am trying to do all I can to keep you translating, for example by adding the 'extension of the week' added just yesterday, and by adding more extensions every time. Keep on having fun. Also: if you have any contacts within the Wikimedia community with speakers of languages that still have incomplete language support, please do not hesitate to try and pull them into Betawiki. [edit] Interesting progress

Hi Dimitar. I see some interesting progress in Bulgarian. You do not appear to be finishing whole meta groups, but are basically working to completing all messages groups at the same time. I do not know if this is being done consciously, or accidentally. If I might give you some advice: keep priorities as follows: MediaWiki most often used messages, MediaWiki messages, Wikimedia extensions, all extensions, FreeCol, Word2MediaWiki Plus. I don't always have the ability to test the extensions and see the place of every single message, that's why some messages are not translated. I do keep the mentioned priorities, but sometimes it's hard to find the exact translation, sometimes there are messages that should be discussed... Not an issue at all. Sounds like you are doing the thorough job. You may want to consider translating it anyway (wikistyle something is better than nothing), but please do not let me get in the way you do your localisation.
