Welcome to Betawiki!

Hi Katimawan2005. Welcome to Betawiki! Please create a user page on which you describe which language(s) you will be working on. If you are going to be an active user here, please also add your name to the languages you will be working on. Before you can use Special:Translate, and Special:Magic, please request translator rights. If you have a wiki where a lot of translations have already been made, you can make an import request. Other useful pages are linked in the translatewiki.net menu that comes with this message.

Once you have started translating, your work will be committed to the standard product every few days. If you want to explicitely request your work to be added, please make a request for commit.

I wish you a productive and pleasant stay. Cheers! Siebrand 23:10, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

Language project

Hi. Please do not forget to make a claim in the Language project. No claim, no bounty. Cheers! Siebrand 11:57, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the reminder, Siebrand. Don't worry, I'll be there once I can satisfy the requirements. katimawan 12:00, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Claim first, satisfy the requirement by the deadline later. This is explicitly stated on the project page. Cheers! Siebrand 06:06, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
Done. Thanks a lot, Siebrand! katimawan 03:48, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

Bounty collection

Hi. I deleted the page where you put the sensitive personal information. You were supposed to e-mail it to me. Please use the e-mail address at Translating:Offline or Special:EmailUser/Siebrand. I really need a IBAN bank account number, otherwise it will be impossible to get you the money. If you have a PayPal account, that would also work. Cheers! Siebrand 09:16, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Claim pam-3 expired

Hi Katimawan. Unfortunately bounty claim pam-3 expired. As you are very far from reaching the milestone, I will not offer you an extension on the time you have to finish it. Please feel free to stake a new claim. I do hope you keep on contributing to your languages for MediaWiki localisation. Cheers! Siebrand 07:19, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks, Siebrand. I'm sorry for the unexpected delay. I'm ready to begin anew and stake a new claim. katimawan 03:28, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Your claim has been approved

Hi. This mail is just to let you know that your claim has been approved and that it is due 7 August 2008. My apologies for taking so long to approve it. The percentage of the claim that was still open has been calculated based on the date it was made. Cheers! Siebrand 16:43, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Welcome back!

Hope you are here to stay. Thank you for your contributions. Please translate/correct the messages in this group first, as those have the most impact.

You're welcome, I miss translating here, although my working in the Kapampangan Wikipedia is continuing. Btw, how do we get to translation Wikimedia messages or blurbs, such as "Knowledge Forever Ad-Free Forever Wikipedia Forever"? They appear in the Kapampangan Wikipedia in English, and I'd like to see them in Kapampangan. Thank you.

That process takes place on meta:Category:Translation_requests. I have tried a few times to have them use different tools (ours), but there seems to be little movement in using something different.

Siebrand09:04, 14 November 2009

Thanks! I'll see if it's feasible to make a request.

katimawan13:35, 14 November 2009

Incidentally, is the bounty for the language project still valid?

katimawan03:48, 15 November 2009

Yes, it is. There has not been any traffic in the project lately and the information is pretty outdated, though. Especially the amount of translatable messages has grown a lot over time; I would need to revise the structure. Please let me know if you are interested.
