Bitte unterlasse es, meine Übersetzungen zu korrigieren, dessen Korrekturen vollkommen vom Quelltext abweichen (entfernen von Parametern wie <code>)! Bedenke, dass durch das Entfernen von Parametern diese auch in den Übersetzungen in den Anwendungen nicht mehr berücksichtigt werden!

Du machst das doch auch mit meinen Übersetzungen. Es geht nicht nur darum den Quelltext eins zu eins zu übersetzen, sondern auch den Sinn des Quelltextes zu erfassen. Das ist tatsächlich nicht immer einfach. Ich habe den Eindruck, daß Du auch Google für Deine Übersetzungen hinzuziehst. Google ist inzwischen ganz gut aber auch nicht immer erste Sahne. Parameter kann man gar nicht entfernen, dafür sorgt hier schon die Software. Vielleicht machst Du einfach mal eine Pause?

Ich nutze DeepL, was noch um Längen stabiler ist als Google... Und dein Angebot, dass ich eine Pause einlegen könnte, zeigt nur, wie wenig meine Übersetzungen geschätzt werden... In solchen Fällen hat es tatsächlich keinen Sinn mehr, hier fortzufahren...

Why doesn’t this make sense? It’s on the top (or bottom) of a page in some language, and lists the translations (other language versions) — and maybe also the original-langauge version – of the page. Anyway, if you think that “other” doesn’t make sense here, than it doesn’t make sense in English, either. So if you really think it’s nonsense, than please get the English version of this message changed first.

And also the original-langauge version. This is why the German translation will be kept as is. Thanks. I am usually the clown reporting such stuff but I have no time to do so right now.

Under “original-language version” I meant the language all other versions are translated from, i.e. English in most cases. The links in the box point to languages strictly different from the language the page is written in, so they are “other languages”. And please do not change the translation before changing the original, it leads to inconsistency. I’ll revert the translation for the time until the English is changed.

Offenbar geht das jetzt doch. Dann entschuldige die Störung.

Das hatte ich auch gesehen, aber dieser Commit war noch auf dem Weg. Das Fuzzy wollte ich deswegen drinhaben, damit ich später nicht vergesse die Systemnachricht wieder anzupacken. Vielleicht künftig nicht ganz so stoisch das Fuzzy beseitigen woll, zumal wenn an der Versionsgeschichte der Nachricht erkennbar ist, daß da was im Busche ist. Bei Reverts ticke ich regelmäßig aus sofern kein offensichtlicher Vandalismus erkennbar ist.

Bitte diskutiere, wenn nötig, siehe Portal_talk:De#Ungrammatische_Verwendung_von_„Ergänzt“. Falsche Übersetzungen und grammatisch fehlerhaftes Deutsch sind nicht akzeptabel, so denglisch die deutschen Texte sonst sein mögen.

Warum willst Du das auf einmal diskutieren. Ich hatte das vor Jahren versucht und vor Dir kam da nichts zur Sache? Ist nun auch egal, macht was Ihr wollt.

Hi Macofe, thanks for asking! Actually I meant it to be a solution for this problem. There must be another trick so I reverted this. I think the reason for it not being translated ist that FuzzyBot acts if one does. So this is on my list again ... Cheers

I am working to add new features to Search Translations (link) and would like your feedback on the same. I have an idea of a new feature, called "text search with autosuggest" through which you can specify your search filters in the search box itself (apart from the UI), and also have autosuggest to show the possible values for the filter options. An example is this.

Hi, Few months ago I used Translatewiki.net to translate SMW. However I cannot find an entry point to working on SMW now! I must be missing something.

Also, I find this platform somewhat crippling for me. I prefer working on source files. So if I do this, will I be able to submit the result for integration here?

I just found the documenation on off-line translation. Probably all you need is to ask is to be a off-line translator here on this wiki.

Du nervst gar nicht. Deine Bearbeitungen hier waren durchweg sehr ok. Die verlinkte Diskussion hattest Du allerdings falsch Verstanden. Die Aufforderung bezieht sich darauf der Zustand von vorher wiederherzustellen, bis ein Konsens hergestellt wurde. Dieser kann dann lokal oder noch besser in Gerrit vorgenommen werden. Gruß

Hey, it's a wiki. However, I am sorry that you lost a big portion of your score. ;) Actually I haphazardly stumbled onto your user page. First I thought that I must have returned to my user page because it looked similar and the statistics were alike. I am happy that you took it as boilerplate. :) The two project columns have even more meaning than it seems at first hand. The first one is for projects for which I contributed practically all of the translations. The second one indicates that I am just one of the translators for the project. Cheers

I'm moving the old OSM legal babble translations to the new messages but as usual you've been faster. Speaking of communiation to users, of which documentation is a very important part we're trying to improve at, did you see mw:Special:LanguageStats/de? There's a lot to do there, and experienced translators like you would also be able to provide valuable feedback about those docs in general. If you care about mw.o l10n, I'd also like to discuss it more in general with you, I have some ideas of things to do but I need some feedback. Thanks for your work,

Heiya, the split of this message was a long time overdue. I figured I should do it right away. Basically it was just copy and paste. :) Yeah, I have seen this on mw.o, but I did not get active since I do not really have the time to do this. It is an enormous bunch of work and I already do more here on twn than I actually want to to. I have to decline for the time being. :(

Folgende Sache: Ich wollte gerade noch ein paar Strings der Erweiterung Semantic MediaWiki ins Obersorbische übersetzen, da fiel mir auf, dass da in der deutschen Übersetzung ein Fehler zu sein scheint:

Der englische Text der Systemnachricht MediaWiki:Smw-ask-userpref-options-collapsed-default/en lautet Enable option box to be collapsed by default, etwa: "Optionsbox standardmäßig eingeklappt aktivieren". Die aktuelle deutsche Übersetzung ist jedoch: Bereich mit den Ausgabeparametern standardmäßig ausklappen. Mir scheint, die Übersetzung drückt das genaue Gegenteil des englischen Textes aus.

Du hast lediglich nicht aufgepasst. Den Fehler hat schon Metalhead64 gemacht.

Ah ok. Gestern war echt nicht so mein Tag, wie ich anhand diverser Fehler in meinen eigenen Übersetzungen feststellen konnte. :( Das Schöne ist aber, daß es auffällt. :)

Hallo kghbln. Die Sache ist jetzt klar. Bei einer Nachricht auf der Disku innerhalb des Kopfbereichs passiert nichts. Ich habe sogar deine Nachricht vom 9. Juli auf meiner Disku übersehen, die du in den Kopfbereich geschrieben hast. Schniggendiller hat mir gestern eine Nachricht auf meiner Disku außerhalb des Kopfbereichs geschrieben, und siehe da, der liebgewordene Kackbalken erschien wieder. Grüße,

Hi Michawiki, mir hat das auch keine wirkliche Ruhe gelassen. Inzwischen bin ich davon überzeugt, daß die Konfiguration von LQT auf twn nicht der Standardkonfiguration entspricht. Wundere Dich daher bitte auf anderen Websites nicht darüber, falls die Benachrichtigung anders verläuft. Kurzum, zum Vertrautwerden mit dieser Erweiterung, so glaube ich, ist twn ungeeignet.
