Read page in… - Wikipedia Mobile
Hi,
I may have a correction to a message that was translated today. The message Wikimedia:Mobileapp-langlinks-title/ar is supposed to mean something like "Read page in Arabic/English/French" - after "in" it's a name of a language. My Arabic is far from perfect, but as far as I remember, it's supposed to be "قراءة الصفحة ب..." and not "في". Of course, I might be wrong, but if I'm right, could you please correct it as soon as possible? The mobile team wants to release a new version.

Updating very old threads
Hi. I see you've been making trivial changes to very old threads. Please don't do this, as it triggers Special:NewMessages for many users. It raised by new messages count by 120, taking me 15 minutes to sort out.

لحظت أنك أزلت التشديد من كثير من رسائل ميدياويكي بدون توضيح السبب (ولهذا السبب أحب وأستخدم عادة ملخص التعديل عند تعديل ترجمات غيري من المترجمين). هل يمكن أن توضح رأيك في السبب؟ (لا تنسَ أن التشديد يشير إلى حرف موجود وكثير من الترجمات تضع التشديد بلا تحرّج).
وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته؛ كان هناك اتفاق بين جاك وميدو في الماضي على عدم استخدام التشكيل في رسائل النظام، لأن التشكيل يتداخل مع الحروف؛ تحياتي لك.
تحدث مع ميدو عندما التقيت قبل بضعة أسابيع قال أن السبب في ذلك يعود إلى أنه في مراحل الترجمة الأولية قرر الفريق تجاهل التشكيل لأن الترجمة أهم. أظن أننا وصلنا إلى مرحلة يمكننا فيها مراجعة التشكيل.
بالمناسبة، هل يتداخل التشكيل فعلا مع الحروف؟ يبدو واضحًا عندي في غنو/لينكس مع فيرفكس.
أيضًا -كما تعلم- يفضل بقوة أن تتم مناقشة التعديلات الضخمة كهذه.

Hi! We have begun finalising the latest Translation Rally 2009-12 in which you have participated and were eligible for a part of the bounty - thank you for your contributions!
First of all my apologies for taking so very long to start processing the bounty cuts. I have no proper reason for it, just that it happened. I hope the delay on my side has not impacted the trust in translatewiki.net or what we stand for.

Arabizing is vandalizing
- Please, we, from Egyptian Wikipedia, have asked you before, not to copy from the Arabic translated forms & paste them in the Egyptian Wikipedia. It is an Egyptian Wikipedia, not a duplicate Arabic one. Copying from Arabic is unimaginably degrading to Egyptian Wikipedia quality. You told us before that you won't edit again in Egyptian Wikipedia. Why are you still doing the all the same of copying from Arabic? I still don't understand why. You haven't explained why you were doing what you were doing at then & now you are continuing it! I am Mahmudmasri. Please, do not Arabize, please, do not vandalize. You are making so much trouble. [[File:picture.jpg]] Why do you Arabize this to [[ملف:picture....]]? We already use the styling codes in their native language English. These codes don't have to be Arabized (They are not Egyptianized). We don't want them to be Arabized or Egyptianized (which you are not doing anyway & who needs to localize them anyway), because including Arabic character (right-to-left characters) in the same line of a left-to-right text is very painful to edit. So, I'm kindly asking you please DO NOT CAUSE MORE TROUBLES & DISTRACTION TO THE EGYPTIAN WIKIPEDIA.
Could you please explain to me, what's this? [1] Why is the version of the supposedly Egyptian version of the welcome of FuzzyBot is almost duplicated from the Arabic? You didn't have to just copy/paste it. Making it unavailable is more elegant than duplicating it from Arabic & make the Wikimedia project seem more of a joke.
ar->arz confusion
Hi Meno. User:Dudi appears to be a little confused at User talk:FuzzyBot about seeing Arabic translations in arz. Please talk to him and sort it out. Thanks.
Conversion ar->arz not counting towards rally total
Hi Meno. Just informing you that the high volume imports of arz, which are script based conversion from ar as far as I know, do not count towards your rally total, even though they are reported as qualifying edits in the rally. This disqualifies you from getting the top 1/2 positions. Sorry, but I think that counting them is not fair compared to the other translators. The same regime was put in place for Liangent.

Hi Meno, Are you sure of what are you doing? you take translation from Ar and then import it to Arz without even any modification, and then you claim it's Arz !!! how could this be?!!

some days ago I created a file Monobook.css for testing because I would like to assign upper case/lower case for 2 places on the page where message lqt-newmessages of Liquid Threads is displayed. But in 1 place I would like have lower case (link new messages in the personal menu bar on the top of the page) and on the other place upper case (title of the new messages page). As Liquid Thread has 1 message for both places only, I can use either lower case or upper case for both. I asked Mormegil because in Czech there is separate casing for both places and Mormegil replied that there is an extra style rule for Czech. Therefore I create a personal Monobook.css - unfortunately with the wrong style rule: the rule should be a {text-transform:lowercase;} but I erroneously wrote capitalize instead of lowercase. Without asking me you moved my file Monobook.css to monobook.css and enabled this file. Now all links start with the first letter in upper case. Please delete the file User:Michawiki/monobook.css. It was a test only. I asked on Support page for an additional message in Liquid Threads but unfortunately nobody replied until now. thank you.
