An article about a real person, individual animal(s), organisation (for example, a band, club, or company, not including educational institutions), or web content that does not indicate why its subject is important or significant. This is distinct from verifiability and reliability of sources, and is a lower standard than notability. (A7)

Use the form below to block write access from a specific IP address or username.
This should be done only to prevent vandalism and in accordance with policy.
Fill in a specific reason below (for example, citing particular pages that were vandalised).
You can block IP address ranges using the CIDR syntax; the largest allowed range is /$1 for IPv4 and /$2 for IPv6.

The following is a list of grants with their associated access to user rights. Users can authorise applications to use their account, but with limited permissions based on the grants the user gave to the application. An application acting on behalf of a user cannot actually use rights that the user does not have however.
There may be additional information about individual rights.

Newcomers are automatically assigned to mentors who are categorised as "Automatically assigned mentors" in the list of mentors. A mentor can also update their settings in the Mentor dashboard to only claim mentees manually, and then they are categorised there as "Manually assigned mentors". The ideal number of mentors is: one mentor for each group of 500 new accounts, with a minimum of 3 mentors. Mentees can also receive encouraging messages from established editors, which can improve new editor retention.

The Personalised praise module surfaces praiseworthy new editors to their mentor, to help productive new editors feel more engaged and involved in the community.

# If a page contains one of these templates then its search score is multiplied by the configured percentage.
# Changes to this take effect immediately.
# Syntax is as follows:
#  * Everything from a "#" character to the end of the line is a comment.
#  * Every non-blank line is the exact template name to boost, namespace, case and everything, followed by a "|" character followed by a number followed by a "%" character.
# Examples of good lines:
# Template:Good|150%
# Template:Very Very Good|300%
# Template:Bad|50%
# Examples of non-working lines:
# Template:Foo|150.234234% # no decimal points allowed!
# Foo|150% # technically works, but for transclusions of the Foo page from the main namespace
# You can test configuration changes by performing a query prefixed with boost-templates:"XX" where XX is all of the templates you want to boost separated by spaces instead of line breaks.
# Queries that specify boost-templates:"XX" ignore the contents of this field.
