If your database server is on different server, enter the host name or IP address here.

If you are using shared web hosting, your hosting provider should give you the correct host name in their documentation.

If you are installing on a Windows server and using MySQL, using "localhost" may not work for the server name. If it does not, try "127.0.0.1" for the local IP address.

If you are using PostgreSQL, leave this field blank to connect via a Unix socket.

Error message if the e-mail address is not valid (e.g. non-ASCII characters, spaces or lacking @).

Note: the example message should not use a real domain name. We should use "@example.com" (where all contents sent are automatically dropped and no reply are expected): see the RFCs about example.com. This domain is also a "wildcard" domain: all valid domain subdomains names resolve to the same base domain, so "any.name@anysubdomain.example.com" is also valid).

We should not use real domain names in this generic message, in order to avoid unexpected spams being sent to them by malware bots that are indexing email addresses found in wiki pages. Bots know that email addresses in @example.com are invalid or will never be read.
