Upload a file, or get the status of pending uploads.
Several methods are available:
* Upload file contents directly, using the <var>$1file</var> parameter.
* Upload the file in pieces, using the <var>$1filesize</var>, <var>$1chunk</var>, and <var>$1offset</var> parameters.
* Have the MediaWiki server fetch a file from a URL, using the <var>$1url</var> parameter.
* Complete an earlier upload that failed due to warnings, using the <var>$1filekey</var> parameter.

Use this form to import HTML content into your wiki.
If you upload a zip file, the Collection Name field is used to differentiate the collection from a later version. Also all files will be grouped in a category by the same name. For example, let's say you're importing a collection of HTML files output from your software documentation system, you would enter a unique Collection ID like 'FluxCapacitor-v1.1' so that the whole collection is imported into an article hierarchy starting with 'FluxCapacitor-v1.1'. This way 10 different collections can be imported without clobbering each other.
Specifying an existing Collection Name (or parent path) will update existing wiki content.
If you want to import a single file into an existing article hierarchy, simply specify it's 'parent' as the Collection Name.
For example, if importing a new 'advanced_topics.html' that should exist at <code>'FluxCapacitor-v1.1/docs/advanced_topics.html'</code>, the parent would be 'FluxCapacitor-v1.1/docs/'

<p>Import definitions and translations from a tab delimited text file that you may have exported from OpenOffice.org, Excel or other spreadsheet software.</p>
<p>The format of the file must be the same as the files exported on the ExportTSV page.
If you have changed the column names, the import will fail.
If you have changed the ID or the defining expression of any defined meaning, that line will be ignored.
If you have added columns, they must be in the form "definitions_iso" or "translations_iso", where iso is an ISO 639-3 language code.</p>
<p>If the "test run" box is checked, any actions that would be taken are reported, but no changes are actually made.
You are encouraged to do a test run before you do an actual import.</p>

Error message provided after an upload attempt. There are two kinds of files mentioned here: one is the XML file containing metadata about a work (e.g. a photo) and the other is the file for the work itself. The work becomes a MediaWiki file, while the metadata becomes the associated file description (a wiki page).

You can export the text and editing history of a particular page or set of pages wrapped in some XML.
This can be imported into another wiki using MediaWiki via the import page.
To export pages, enter the titles in the text box below, one title per line, and select whether you want the current revision as well as all old revisions, with the page history lines, or the current revision with the info about the last edit.
In the latter case you can also use a link, for example / for the page "".

Similar to timedmedia-ogg-long-error. Used as the long description for an ogg media file if there are no streams in the file using a recognized codec. This can be caused by an invalid ogg file, or by one using an obscure type of data (e.g. dirac video with no audio).

This message appears on the big button on the first page of the Upload Wizard. Files can be dragged to that button from the operating system's file manager. Pressing the button will open a "browse" window to choose a file. Note: when translating "share", remember that you have to makee it clear to the user that they are sharing the media with the public, making it freely available (technically, published and released under a free license); if no equivalent is available, just translate as "upload".

This checkbox allows you to re-upload media for an item that has already been uploaded to the wiki. If the item already exists because of one of your previous uploads, an additional media file will be added to the wiki. If someone else has already uploaded a new version of the media file, then your new upload will be ignored. If the media file does not yet exist in the wiki, it will be uploaded whether this checkbox is checked or not.

<strong>Congratulations!</strong>
You have installed MediaWiki.
The installer has generated a <code>LocalSettings.php</code> file.
It contains all your configuration.
You will need to download it and put it in the base of your wiki installation (the same directory as index.php). The download should have started automatically.
If the download was not offered, or if you cancelled it, you can restart the download by clicking the link below:
$3
<strong>Note:</strong> If you do not do this now, this generated configuration file will not be available to you later if you exit the installation without downloading it.
When that has been done, you can <strong>[$2 enter your wiki]</strong>.

Return URL for third-party authentication flows, must be absolute. Either this or <var>$1continue</var> is required.
Upon receiving a <samp>REDIRECT</samp> response, you will typically open a browser or web view to the specified <samp>redirecttarget</samp> URL for a third-party authentication flow. When that completes, the third party will send the browser or web view to this URL. You should extract any query or POST parameters from the URL and pass them as a <var>$1continue</var> request to this API module.

SQLite stores all data in a single file.
The directory you provide must be writable by the webserver during installation.
It should <strong>not</strong> be accessible via the web; this is why we're not putting it where your PHP files are.
The installer will write a <code>.htaccess</code> file along with it, but if that fails someone can gain access to your raw database.
That includes raw user data (email addresses, hashed passwords) as well as deleted revisions and other restricted data on the wiki.
Consider putting the database somewhere else altogether, for example in <code>/var/lib/mediawiki/yourwiki</code>.

Error message when the limit of operations to be done at once in the file backend was reached.
Parameters:
* $1 - the number of operations attempted at once in this case
* $2 - the maximum number of operations that can be attempted at once
A "backend" is a system or component that ordinary users don't interact with directly and don't need to know about, and that is responsible for a distinct task or service - for example, a storage back-end is a generic system for storing data which other applications can use. Possible alternatives for back-end are "system" or "service", or (depending on context and language) even leave it untranslated.
