For the <code><nowiki><li></nowiki></code> tag's <code>id</code> attribute, non-ASCII characters are URL-encoded as follows: a period (<code>.</code>) followed by a capital hexadecimal code. For example, <code><nowiki><ref name="thử"></nowiki></code> produces <code><nowiki><li id="cite_note-th.E1.BB.AD-0"></nowiki></code>.

www.example.org is not a real website, but it has been reserved to use in software documentation. If you translate the word example and try to go to that web address then you might get a message that it doesn't exist. But somebody may have created a commercial web page for that address, such as www.Beispiel.org, using the German word for example. It is therefore recommended that you do not translate http://www.example.org at all. If you do wish to translate it you should first check where the translated link takes you.

Warning displayed during preview when editing a page if #incat parser function acted incorrectly (Acting incorrectly means acting as if page was not in category, but page actually is). This can happen during preview, since the categories from the last saved revision are used instead of the categories specified in the page text. Once page is saved, the correct categories should be used. This error can also be caused by conditional category inclusion (<code><nowiki>{{#ifpageincat:Foo||[[category:Foo]]}}</nowiki></code>. See also {{msg-mw|pageincat-very-wrong-warn}}.

*$1 is the list of categories (in a localized comma separated list with the last two items separated by {{msg-mw|and}}. The individual category names will be italicized).

Cite extension. This warning occurs when the tag <code><nowiki><ref name="something" /></nowiki></code> is used with the name-option specified but the definition for this named ref is outside of the currently being previewed section, or not defined at all.

If you choose to migrate your accounts, you will be able to use the same username and password to log in to all wikis of {{int:Centralauth-groupname}} in all available languages.

Name of the the special that lists non-existent files with most usages across all wikis. Global refers to the usage (all wikis, not just current wiki). This is similar to {{msg-mw|wantedfiles}}, but for the global special page.

This can happen if someone does something like ''put this page in category foo only if its not in category foo'' or more generally when people include category links inside <code>#incat</code> functions. The message appears in the Mediawiki code as follows:

Siebrand think this has to do with allowing MediaWiki to fetch remote URLs, and in that not allowing anything but "http://" request. So if this for example is "irc://" or "https://", $1 would be "irc" or "https" respectively.

If 'scheme' is difficult to translate, then you could use 'prefix' instead.

Used when a query is not specified.

The types of terms to get, e.g. 'description'. If not specified, all types are returned.
