Hi, I'm Mahuton from Benin Republic. I can speak and write Gungbe too. Gungbe is spoken in Hogbonou, a border region with Nigeria. I think we can moveon with the nigerian variant.

The Nigerian variant (Gun-Alada) used in gun Bible translation is still the only translation of Bible in gun that I have seen or read. Based on this premise, I would think the Nigerian variant is used in Benin. Though I plan to collaborate with other translators, I am open to learn from their answers to this question.
