Hi Gerard, I'm JinJian, an admin at Waray-Waray Wikipedia. Sometime in March 2012, we have discussed about namespaces for Waray-Waray Wikipedia. The result is still working fine however, a few would just transcribe the english namespace names to waray-waray instead of using the preferred term. There are few instances where "Category" is sometimes written as "Kategorya" or "Kategoriya" instead of the preferred "Kaarangay". It would not work because "kategorya" or "kategoriya" are currently not considered as alternatives. Would it be possible if "Kategorya" and "Kategoriya" will be considered alternatives for the preferred "Kaarangay"? Just like what was done to the namespace "File" where both "Fayl" and "Paypay" are currently accepted. For the "File" namespace, can we still add "Payl" as an alternative, but the preferred namespace still remains "Paypay".
I would also request if the following can be considered alternatives for the namespace "Special": "Ispisyal", "Espesyal", "Espisyal", "Ispesyal". However the preferred waray-waray term for this namespace should still be "Pinaurog". Thanks
