If you would like some hints on how to request a change of English name for ace to Acehnese on CLDR, I am willing to try to provide these. However, getting anything changed on CLDR is usually a very long process.

How to request a change? Thank you..

Si Gam Acèh (talk)17:02, 1 April 2013

OK. I will do a few notes for you, but not just yet as I am busy at work.

Lloffiwr (talk)21:26, 1 April 2013

OK. Thanks a lot..

To change the English name for ace you need to file a ticket to make a change request at CLDR Change Requests. I don't think you need an account to do this. The process for requesting data to be changed is described at "CLDR process". There is also advice on CLDR on translatewiki.net. I think the rule for choosing which English name to use for a language on CLDR is to use the most commonly known name, so it might take you a long time to persuade them that Achinese is old-fashioned and not liked in Indonesia.

OK. Thanks.. :)
