Shapado (homepage) is free and open source Q&A software. Shapado is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License and the source code is freely available.

It is possible to translate Shapado on translatewiki.net. User Siebrand coordinates the localization of Shapado. User Patcito is the developer contact. Questions about the translation of Shapado can be asked on the talk page for this page.

Translations from translatewiki.net are integrated into the software every other week or so. These will then be available to users of Shapado.com in the next release of Shapado.

Translation notes

OSM uses rails-i18n, based on CLDR data, to generate plural forms. The plural software keys for each language on rails-i18n, are here. See Unicode CLDR page for an explanation of the plural keys for translators. Advice on writing plural syntax for CLDR data is given here.

Statistics

This product has many message groups. Message groups with a translation percentage above 50% are committed to version control. Support for a language is only enabled on a total localisation level of 35% or more.
