The currency code is USD, not US, at least if US is meant to be a currency code.

Siebrand21:26, 18 December 2012

Agreed, fixed. Thanks.

Jrice (talk)22:29, 28 January 2013

...Actually, I also removed the space before the colon and moved the abbr after the number (ie: "%{number} USD").

Jrice (talk)22:29, 28 January 2013

Please provide context. Is the Title Case wanted?

Siebrand23:02, 17 December 2012

This is a column header, seen only by admins. The contents of the column indicate which search result a user clicked on.

(added that to qqq.)

I think the title case here is okay, and this is for admins only, so I don't care enough to change it otherwise.  ;)

Jrice (talk)22:28, 28 January 2013

Patchwork message? Seems to start in the middle of a sentence.

Siebrand10:48, 24 December 2012

You do not have permission to edit this page, for the following reason:

The action you have requested is limited to users in the group: Users.

You can view and copy the source of this page.

Typo: thehomepage -> the homepage

Siebrand10:47, 24 December 2012

Fixed, thanks.

Jrice (talk)22:25, 28 January 2013

Is %{users} like a comma separated list of user names? If so, this should probably support plural, based on the number of invitations that could not be sent.

Siebrand10:26, 24 December 2012

(Sorry for the long delay; I've been sick.)

Okay. I've removed this one and replaced it with unable_to_invite_users_to_community_with_count which has the count (and an explanation about the variable in qqq).

Jrice (talk)22:23, 28 January 2013

This page both errouneously displays the current English message text, and does not warn that English is the source language and improvements should be suggested at support.

Purodha Blissenbach (talk)13:49, 27 December 2012

Huh?

Siebrand14:24, 4 January 2013

Looks like a patchwork message. Something is missing at the end of the string.

Siebrand23:41, 23 December 2012

Indeed. ...But it turns out this view that used this translation was never called, so I removed it (and one other translation). ...thankfully. It was really awful.

Jrice (talk)14:28, 3 January 2013

Probably contains typ: URLS -> URLs. Besides that, this message is quite incomprehensible.

Siebrand11:38, 24 December 2012

This key was unused; removed.

Jrice (talk)14:25, 3 January 2013

Please provide context.

Siebrand11:37, 24 December 2012

Added:

"This is a column subheading, explaining the contents of the content in a table of search terms and the pages those terms should redirect to. In this case, the column contains the term users are expected to enter (other columns would then contain the pages we think they probably want from that term)."

Jrice (talk)14:21, 3 January 2013

Please document context. Also contains {...} which looks like a parameter, but probably isn't. Should this be (...)?

Siebrand11:36, 24 December 2012

That whole translation was completely lamesauce. :) Thanks.

Fixed, but renamed (to "see_all_activity_combinations"--we try not to use "click here" links, grrr); this key has been removed.

Jrice (talk)14:19, 3 January 2013

I found "." after "translations". It may be "?".

아라다 알아 (talk)01:52, 25 December 2012

Nice find. The second sentence reads as a slopy one, too.

Siebrand19:26, 25 December 2012

Fixed. I also reworded the "Delete actions cannot be undone" in its four incarnations.

Jrice (talk)14:12, 3 January 2013

아라다 알아 (talk)01:53, 25 December 2012

아라다 알아 (talk)01:51, 25 December 2012

You're right about the question mark. Thanks.

Jrice (talk)14:09, 3 January 2013

What is the value of %{go_back_link}?

Nike (talk)23:43, 8 December 2012

So-called patchwork message. I fixed it, and since the value of the link is now just a link rather than a link with text, I removed this message and created a new one called correct_donation_message_with_link.

Jrice (talk)13:14, 19 December 2012

Many thanks again for following up on all open issues, Jeremy.

Siebrand21:49, 19 December 2012

Please provide context.

Siebrand10:55, 17 December 2012
Added: "This is seen only by admins, on a page reporting on searches. This string is used as the
heading of a column of data: each row represents a single search term (ie 'tiger') and the data for this column
represents the average number of 'hits' for that term for the scientific name of a page. It's an average because
the results can vary each time the search term is searched for--we get new names and we mark old names as invalid."
Jrice (talk)15:17, 19 December 2012

Incomplete sentence? Ends abruptly.

Siebrand10:45, 17 December 2012

Thanks for pointing it out. The developer, when I asked him if it should end in 'the,' said: "Umm, probably not. I'll see when the rest of that got lost."

Jrice (talk)15:03, 19 December 2012

Please provide context.

Siebrand10:46, 17 December 2012

Unused. Deleted.

Jrice (talk)13:48, 19 December 2012

What's an "InfoItem" (no spaces in there)?

Siebrand10:48, 17 December 2012

Added:

This is a message only seen by admins. An InfoItem in this context is the low-level mapping that EOL uses for entries in the Table of Contents, and we're letting the admins know that these cannot be directly added or edited here.

Jrice (talk)13:47, 19 December 2012

Patchwork. Please

fix.

Siebrand10:52, 17 December 2012

Unused; deleted.

Jrice (talk)13:34, 19 December 2012

Please provide context. Assuming this is followed by a date (i.e. a log of error for that date)?

Siebrand19:18, 17 December 2012

Patchwork. Fixed, renamed. (There was another set just like this, also fixed.)
