Requests such as the following:

Request a new tool to be added Be sure you pass the following requirements as you follow these 5 steps: The tool is in a Git repository (or other public location) where the source code can be found (Tools translated by translatewiki.net must be open-source). To ease the transition from English to multilingual it is recommended you start using the Intuition class in your tool before placing your request here. You can create a local development i18n-file and load it in the class as if it was synced from translatewiki.net to the central i18n directory. Read more about this in the Intuition documentation. By preparing your English messages you will save yourself the trouble of a complicated switch. This way, once it's in translatewiki.net, all you have to do is delete your local file and remove the call to $I18N->loadTextdomainFromFile(). Show users of your tool that it is available in multiple languages and that they should visit the Intuition page to configure their settings. The easier way to do that is to call $I18N->dashboardBacklink() somewhere. Make a request here by creating a thread (be sure to include an URL to a live version of it as hosted on https://tools.wmflabs.org/)

Grammar not that bad

The grammar of the message text is incorrect.

Any suggestion with correct grammar is appreciated. But I would like to keep this description as short as possible.

One template, potentially many templates, any template, ... ?

It checks any template, but one at a time. It's typically used to check the use of navboxes (like team squads etc). Examples of use:

• Check of enWP Template:Real Madrid C.F. squad

Documnatation says $1 was a date.

The accompanying example gives a dat+time for $1.

What is correct?

If the exampe is correct, the message needs date and time split as per https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Localisation#Separate_times_from_dates_in_sentences

They are provided separately to a different part of the translation workflow. Each language has a preset for date and time formatting (similar to MediaWiki's history page I guess). We don't want different parts of the interface to have a different date/time format, so this is localised in one place, and then (already localised) passed on to messages like these.

This does not answer my question. Is this a date only? If not so, the message needs date and time separated.

It's only a date. It comes from Intuition:General-dateformat/en.

I agree that plural support should be added. Yet I can’t use the MediaWiki plural implementation in my code as it is not written in PHP, and correctly implementing the plural syntax seems to be complex. I’ll add this on my to do list, but I don’t know when I’ll have the time to deal with it.

What's the code written in?

What's the code written in?

It’s written in Python. The Python wrapper for Intuition is PyIntuition, see GitHub. As far as I see, I’d need to write or use a CLDR parser to correctly parse PLURAL messages with the same behaviour as Intuition/MediaWiki.

If you think it would be cool to write one, please do. We already have one in JavaScript and PHP. Having more is better! :)

While Siebrand and I are working on intuition issue #10 (conversion to JSON), no daily updates are exported to the deployed Tool Labs installation. This should be resolved shortly.
