Needs context. It's usually better (at least in Finnish) to use the verb as confirmation in questions directed to the user. For example "Do you want to delete this file?" [Delete] [Cancel] is better than [OK] [Cancel].
Context? Why in lower case?
Best split sentence up like this:

What is the reason behind that?
What should I do in the code part1 + " " + part2 with part1="An indexing process is currently running." and part2="Are you sure you want to quit and abort it now?" Are you sure this is perfectly portable over all languages?
Why on this string and not the other which also have many sentences?
Please change the second sentence.
