Please, Consider this matter

Your bot attracts Sinhala(Si-Lk) Translations. Can you please consider this matter soon--asiri 10:49, 12 September 2008 (UTC).

huh? Siebrand 21:05, 12 September 2008 (UTC)

Please don't translate if you don't know language

What is this? о'єктУа іs not word in Ukrainian, it is set of letters. Apostrophe (') is not used after vowel sounds, only after some consonant vowels.--Ahonc 22:04, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

FuzzyBot is bot, it doesn't translate. In this case it just imported existing translation into this wiki. – Nike 06:22, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

Thai translation(s)

Since I could not find the bot's owner user page, I believe it is the best way to leave my message here. In Thai language there is no such a plural form. Then my question is that should I remove {{Plural}} out or just fake a plural from like {{PLURAL:$1|foo|foo}}.

Please let me know what is the best way that work for Mediawiki translation. --Manop 06:17, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

If your language does not use plural, just omit using it. The drawback is that your translations will be marked as 'problematic', but you can ignore that. Maybe some time in the future, we will be able to have (even) more complex validity checks, but that is just not the case at the moment. FuzzyBot is run by staff members, so this was indeed the right place to ask questions, although Support may even have been more correct. Cheers! Siebrand 10:00, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

Stop Please

Please stop any modification of Literary Chinese (lzh) immediately, since all of the new translation were recovered by your bots, which is very impolite and in reality vandalizing. Thanks for your consideration!--Itsmine 19:18, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

This language is being worked on by Shinjiman in SVN and, apparently by you, in Betawiki. Please contact User:Shinjiman to work something out. Otherwise we make the SVN version get precedence. It is impossible for us to keep track of the individual updates otherwise. Siebrand 19:50, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

OKay, I am contacting with Shinjiman now, thanks for your advice.--Itsmine 05:56, 29 January 2009 (UTC)

Kindly link to FuzzyBot's page

Hi, Siebrand. Could you please kindly provide a link to this: User:FuzzyBot/translations/1-Hi I m FuzzyBot I m not vandal/tl on FuzzyBot's page? Thanks and cheers. - AnakngAraw 00:19, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

Maybe it is broken or something. I have been quite angry with User:Nike a few weeks ago because he is not fixing the translate tag bugs that are known. I suggest you start nagging him, because it highly frustrates me . Siebrand 07:25, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
Can you now add "Tagalog" to the list, and linked to User:FuzzyBot/translations/1-Hi I m FuzzyBot I m not vandal/tl? Thanks. - AnakngAraw 04:23, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

Category ?

I think the bot should insert a {{Fuzzy}} template in which there would be the word "!!FUZZY!!" and [[Category:Fuzzy]] or something like this ; rather than the only word "!!FUZZY!!", that can't be easily and globally found. It could be very useful. Don't you think? Delhovlyn 13:25, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

This might be a good idea, and it might solve one other problem too about querying which messages are fuzzy. I have to look it later when I can think clear. – Nike 23:20, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

"External source"

Hi,

I don't get it: I edited a few Hebrew strings and you imported the translation from an external source, and FuzzyBot "exported a translation from an external source", essentially reverting it. What is that external source, so i shall fix the mistakes there? Or was it a mistake? --Amir E. Aharoni 20:52, 22 March 2009 (UTC)

The other source is Rotem Liss, which you need to contact if you want to work on core messages and avoid conflicts. This is also mentioned in Translating:Languages#he. – Nike 06:52, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
