Hi Metalhead64. Welcome to translatewiki.net!
You can now start translating.
You should also check the portal for your language, the link is in the sidebar. Other useful pages are linked in the menu next to this message.
Your translations are transferred to the standard product every few days or every few weeks depending on the product. Please notice that it may take longer before you see your translation in the actual product.
It can be just a few days before they appear on Wikipedia, but a few months can pass between each new release of FreeCol.
We wish you a productive and pleasant stay. Please leave any questions on Support. Cheers!
Two tips for localisation
- please do not use parser functions. Not every installation has them (reverted one instance)
- please stick to the English source message, and do not invent additional text (reverted 2 instances). If you think a source message should be changed, please open a new topic on Support.
Cheers! Siebrand 10:07, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
Question
Is there anyway that I can add all the MediaWiki messages on this site that start with "Right-" and finish with "/en" to my watchlist? Because I want to keep an eye on them for whenever the FuzzyBot updates them. On Fandom or Miraheze I would just request a database dump. But I'm not sure if Translate has a database dump tool of any sort.
Also I noticed that a few of the Fandom messages in the Wikia namespace are outdated. Could I be bold and update them or do I have to start a discussion and get a consensus first?
P.S. Forgive me if I'm not supposed to edit your talk page. But the editor is being a pain and won't let me submit my message as a thread. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 01:49, 15 September 2020 (UTC)

Hi,
I am working to add new features to Search Translations (link) and would like your feedback on the same. I have an idea of a new feature, called "text search with autosuggest" through which you can specify your search filters in the search box itself (apart from the UI), and also have autosuggest to show the possible values for the filter options. An example is this.
Please write a comment here about what you think of this feature. Also here you may read about the other improvements that are planned.
Thank you and I shall be waiting for your feedback.
Thank you for promoting me to translator group. I'm here specially to translate OpenStreetMap site. I'm "taking care" of JOSM translation (OpenStreetMap editor with a lot of messages to translate) in another site (Launchpad), but since OpenStreetMap needed some translations, I had to get here. It's not the first time I'm here. I had another translator account some time ago but I lost my password (username too, but that's easy to find since I made OpenStreetMap site translations) so I had to create another account. By the way, the first time I've been here I had to request for permission to be a translator, this time I was surprised by the new process to translate a few messages and wait for approval. Nice system! Thanks again!
Hallo Metalhead64!
https://github.com/mantisbt/mantisbt/commit/7b0ec64d6ca2c93a860a61aa1cd64aafd3367dfb -$s_copy_notes_from_parent = 'Kopiere Notizen'; +$s_copy_notes_from_parent = 'Notizen kopieren';
Mir kommt es so vor, als ob die Änderung von jemandem gemacht worden ist, der die Applikation nicht selbst nutzt. Liege ich damit richtig?
Grüße atrol
Du hast Recht. In Wirklichkeit habe ich keine Ahnung, in welchem Zusammenhang die Nachricht verwendet wird. Ich habe die Änderung nur im Zuge einer notwendigen Aktualisierung vorgenommen.
Hi. How do you know the number of revisions you've made? The 1000 reviews in your user page seems statical. Do you know where the real number can be tracked?
Thank you.
You can see your editcount in the start page of your Preferences, section "Basic information".
Hey dude.
I'm new here. I registered almost a week ago and started translating FUDforum (I'm a member of FUDforum support forum as well), I found out FUDforum hasn't yet translated into Persian, So I decided to do it myself (I'm a translator). when I started, the project was somehow on ice for like 4 years! and exactly a little after I started doing it, some mysterious destroyer guy shows up and edits and edits for no rational reason. I was busy translating FUDforum messages, until a new user appeared out of nowhere and he has widely messed with all those Edits I'd done and still is editing all my translations & efforts in an unbelievably wrong way (I believe he's a troll).. I beg you, stop this troll, I can't continue working like this and being interfered by such trolls. unfortunately there's nothing I can do about it, people (of course by 'people' I mean trolls, cuz u know, normal people won't try to act that much lawlessly in such communities in where people, and coordinately the job they're doing is damn serious and definitely not like playing with a toy) can easily ruin everything u have done. unfortunately translatewiki has no clear rule as to prevent such trolls
Is it possible that I can have my own separated privacy while doing it? without any other trolls sabotaging my works?
the guy I'm talking about:
https://translatewiki.net/wiki/User:Alirezaaa
he just edits and edits without even asking, cuz it's what he does: ruin everything intentionally
I wonder if there is any policy which can stop these weird internet creatures ?seriously, how TW can Guarantee that my edits are protected from being ruined by trolls here
just let's have a look and find out: https://translatewiki.net/w/i.php?title=Special:RecentChanges&limit=500&namespace=1218&translations=only

Hi,
Please, create this page MediaWiki:Wikibase-rc-hide-wikidata-hide/ro with text ”Ascunde” (without quotes). This thing will replace word ”Hide” with ”Ascunde on Romanian wikipedia recent-changes page. Thank you. Also, at rowiki it's necesarry to translate words which appear in recent changes when a user was renamed, but i haven't found this item here yet))
Thank you.
how can i become a translator? I want to translate some words to Romanian.
I fear that's not possible.
Thank you for having responded. I want to say that I was removed because of a translator to translate into Lezgin language into Latin alphabet basis. I promise that I will translate based on Cyrillic. none besides me does not translate interface Lezgian section. I want to finish the translation. I promise that I will not use the Latin-based

Hi Metalhead64,
I am planning to work on the project titled "Tools for mass migration of legacy translated wiki content" this summer under Google Summer of Code. I have drafted a proposal for the same over the past few weeks. This project is going to help the translation adminstrators like you in a great way, as it would completely automate the tedious manual task of preparing a page for translation and then importing the translations into the Translate extension. You can check the proposal page for detailed information on how I plan to accomplish this.
As you would be an end user of this tool, it would be great if you could go through the proposal and provide feedback/suggestions. Your feedback would definitely help me improve the proposal as well help in creating an even better tool. You can do the same on the discussion page of the proposal or reply here, whichever is convenient for you. I look forward to hearing from you! Thank you!
P.S: I need to submit the proposal to Google by March 19, 2014.
