Hi Metalhead64. Welcome to translatewiki.net!
You can now start translating.
You should also check the portal for your language, the link is in the sidebar. Other useful pages are linked in the menu next to this message.
Your translations are transferred to the standard product every few days or every few weeks depending on the product. Please notice that it may take longer before you see your translation in the actual product.
It can be just a few days before they appear on Wikipedia, but a few months can pass between each new release of FreeCol.
We wish you a productive and pleasant stay. Please leave any questions on Support. Cheers!
Two tips for localisation
- please do not use parser functions. Not every installation has them (reverted one instance)
- please stick to the English source message, and do not invent additional text (reverted 2 instances). If you think a source message should be changed, please open a new topic on Support.
Cheers! Siebrand 10:07, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

Hi, I saw that you're solving such cases and I would like to ask how to proceed with them. In the Bulgarian translations we are having a bunch of translations 3000+ done by an contributor that does not have any knowledge of Bulgarian and translated most of them with "Machine" or based on similar translations in Bulgarian or other Slavic languages. I'm working on fixing this for some time, but there are translations from the "MediaWiki:Apihelp-****" category, that require deeper knowlege, which I don't have in some cases. Is there an easy way to remove the current translation, so the system to use the English one? Maybe to mark them somehow with template for deletion? Reporting every single one will take time and I don't think I can invest days in fixing other contributors mess.
It is possible to automatically delete all pages created by the user.
No, don't use the template because it will be exported as-is.
I have a script that can fuzzy all translations by a given user.
Deletion of translations is very time consuming process, especially if they span across multiple repositories.
The problem is that I have alrady reviewed and fixed a lot of those translations and if they are all marked as fuzzy, I will have to review them again. What I need is a simple way to remove the wrong translations that I can't fix at the moment. They are API related translations and are pretty much useless for developers and will just confuse them, if they are even used. If this is not possible, I will ignore them for now and will try to find a solution later.
When I click Edit with form on my user page to add my location, it takes coordinates but not show me on https://translatewiki.net/wiki/Map_of_translators could you please help
Hello there! I would like to be renamed to "Cuatro Remos", for consistency with my current username in Wikimedia projects. Thanks!
Hi, I would like to correct MediaWiki:Mainpage/sc from Pàgina Base to Pàgina printzipale, to have the same title in all the projects, but my edit was identified as harmful. As you can see here the name used on the Sardinian Wikipedia is Pàgina printzipale, and the same one was used for the Wiktionary as well, when it was still published (now it's in the incubator). Maybe I'm wrong (in that case, please let me know), but I think there's no project that has a Main page in Sardinian named "Pàgina Base" right now.
I've already tried opening a thread in the support page, but the only reply I got was not from an administrator.
Hit by abuse filter #3 created by Nike. What shall I do?

Hi! İ tried to edit the page MediaWiki:Babel-1/sr, in order to improve the translation, but İ can’t. İ made the change in sr-ec and sr-el pages, but if the page MediaWiki:Babel-1/sr isn’t changed, the text on the template won’t be changed. For example, on my userpage, the old text is still there. Could you do something about it, please? Thanks in advance!
No. The title is locked by an translation administrator for the following reason: This language code should remain unused. Localise in sr-ec please.
And what should İ do to update the template? İf İ change only the sr-ec version, the Babel template when İ add Serbian remains unchanged. What can we do instead?
Try to request a message change at Support.
Hi, I opened account Zoranzoki21-Bot for my bot. You should give him bot and offline translator. Thanks!
Done
Thanks! Can you please close topic on support where I requested that already?
Since you basically run the process alone, can you review Approving new users?
Коллега, простите, за такую неловкую просьбу). Я случайно сам снял с себя флаг переводчика. Не могли бы мне вернуть его?) --OlegCinema (talk) 09:29, 4 March 2018 (UTC)
Hello Metalhead64, I only wanted to thank you for reviewing my very first contributions and enabling me to contribute any further. Have a nice day ~~Aeliyan
Dem möchte ich mich gerne anschließen. :)
Hi, i am (active) translator of English messages to Serbian language, and i think about that right wil help me to faster convert messages between Serbian language variants. I appreciate your opinion.
Hallo Metalhead64!

Please, give me offline translator right. I requested it on support. I need it, to I can faster convert translations from serbian cyrilic to serbian latin and serbian latin to serbian cyrilic and to mass add new translations for it language.
Thank you!
Hi. Could you please grant me translator rights ? I am native in Russian and Ukrainian and fluent in English, so I want to be useful in Translatewiki. I have a good experience in Wikipedia (over 40K manual edits), so I think it's enough for Translatewiki :-)
Seems like I probably got some updates to Pickle wrong. A few words had to be updated because of the ISTQB glossary (click "English" and change to "German"), "bestanden" is used for "passed" and "fehlgeschlagen" is used for "failed". Could you check them out? It could take a day or two before my crappy updates hits TranslateWiki.
