Skr or Skr-arab
- @Nemo bis: @MF-Warburg: @StevenJ81: We have complete the localization for Saraiki Wikipedia here but another page for translation has been created by someone here I point out that the language code skr is correct as per ISO code but the skr-arab is invalid as per SIL and ethnologue. the web address for Saraiki Wikipedia will be skr.wikipedia.org not skr-arab.wikipedia.org please guide me in this regard. thanks --Rehmat Aziz Chitrali 05:26, 6 October 2018 (UTC)

I'm interested in working more closely with Extension:Translate, that includes marking pages for translation. I scanned through the Special:ListGroupRights page and it appears that only bureaucrats have access to do so. Now, I think I'm nowhere near qualified, as I just started translating here, so how many translations/edits would you recommend, until it's justified to apply on that position?
Ciao vorrei avere diritto ad un interprete in Lezgin. Grazie in anticipo
Thank you for having responded. I want to say that I was removed because of a translator to translate into Lezgin language into Latin alphabet basis. I promise that I will translate based on Cyrillic. none besides me does not translate interface Lezgian section. I want to finish the translation. I promise that I will not use the Latin-based
Ciao Nemo. Sono un traduttore registrato da un anno fa e vorrei poter contribuire più efficacemente al mantenimento di questo progetto è. Ora ho bisogno che le flag d'amministratore e burocrate. Io sono un utente esperto, mi dedico principalmente per modificare i messaggi in spagnolo e portoghese. In misura minore italiano, inglese, francese, olandese, tedesco e catalano.
Hello Nemo. I just wish to notify you that I have written to you about access for translating languages in Macedonian for CLDR and how the situation is now. I wrote via the system suggested at the top of the page, and I do not wish to rush anything, but just to make sure that you received it. Cheers.
You should use SearchTranslations: it's at MediaWiki:Ext-uls-input-settings-more-languages-tooltip/hr.
Several months ago I asked you why an old message still appeared in Wikipedia although it was updated. The issue was resolved. However, today I found a similar problem again. This link shows that two messages relating to RecentChanges page were updated two days ago. Yet, only one appears correctly in the RecentChanges page in Thai Wikipedia, while the other one was not updated.
More interestingly, I opened RecentChanges page in translatewiki.net and found that neither of them was updated. This is strange because translatewiki.net should update its interface immediately after changing of any message. I, therefore, did null edit on both pages and found that RecentChanges page on translatewiki.net now renders correctly. RecentChanges page in Thai Wikipedia does still render incorrectly, though.
Are you sure that recentchanges-legend-newpage hasn't changed in English too? LocalisationUpdate only updates translations if the English text is still the same as the one used by the wiki, you may need to wait a week or so for MediaWiki to be updated there.
You need to check how it is in 1.23wmf6 on git.wikimedia.org
Well, I still don't understand what happened.
This link at line 678 retrieves the message named "recentchanges-legend-newpage." This message is defined in this link at line 1569 correctly. However, in wikipedia:th:Special:Recentchanges the recent version of "recentchanges-legend-newpage" still appears which is completely incorrect. It has been like this for almost one month.
Ciao, Nemo. Sono un po' in difficoltà :P ... Ti faccio qualche domanda:
- qui su translatewiki le traduzioni che avevo fatto erano inizialmente diventate effettive... ma adesso è sparito tutto (i messaggi appaiono nella versione precedente alla mia modifica). Cosa è successo?
- come si "esportano" le traduzioni su wikipedia, wikizionario ecc.?
- dovrei anche tradurre i namespace... come faccio?
Having not looked back at my request until a few months after you asked a question, I have responded, and will be able to more-actively check translatewiki.net. Here is a link back to my request. If the request is too old, I'd be perfectly willing to submit a new one.
Hello Do you happen to know when the update is expected synonyms? Just wanted to know when we are coming. Sorry.
You mean the registration of it, I have. But I'm interested synonyms just wanted to know when they are updated. In the Chechen Wikitravel we can not enter. thank you
The fix for bug 51783 is already live. Wikitravel is completely out of our control, ask them when they plan to update their software. As for updates in the last code, I refer you again to FAQ#Special:AdvancedTranslate.
Hello!! As you know we discussed earlier the process of reverts n counter-reverts going on Punjabi translations. I request you to please intervene in the issue. I won't say I know Punjabi more or he knows Punjabi more. But please don't you think because there are three native Punjabi-speakers reverting his edits simultaneously, there is something fishy here? Please look into the matter, three native Punjabis (Aalam, Taributtar and myself) going against one editor cannot be because they have some grudge, its generally shows how the correct translations are being modified by this native-Punjabi speaker claiming editor. Plus if you had known Punjabi, I could have shown you how Raj is not a native speaker rather a vandal destroying the translations. I hope you would take some wise decision. Thanks a lot :)
Very sad to hear; done. What I told him is valid for everyone, please don't ignore his concerns now that he can't revert translations, try and discuss with him considering this wiki a "neutral territory" where to forget pa.wiki disagreements.
Hi, how can I enable my language in this http://translatewiki.net/wiki/Portal:Sdh?
Hi Nemo, I proposed to add the Navit project to TW, but even with a formal request and a mail I get no response within weeks. As we had a little chat in IRC, I like to know, how long we might wait till we can began to setup any procedures?
Thanks for your reply Nemo :) Even that I expected, that the process will take time, I thought more of weeks than months. I see that Siebrand has already a lot of stuff todo, so maybe we will find another solution to translate Navit for the next few months, so the release doesn't need to be stopped. NP, we will find a solution and are happy to join TW later :)
Hello Nemo bis! I'm not sure if you got my reply so I post it here once more. Could you report the bug about messages were not updated at Thai Wikipedia? Since I'm not familiar with translatewiki system, it would be better if you report the bug by your own. Additionally, I would like to get bugzilla link about this problem so that I can watch changes.
Sorry if my grammar was wrong. my English isn't good. And Thanks a lot for everything. ;)
I created the article because there was a similar one on another service, then I saw a user translated it to another language (Korean perhaps?), so yesterday I thought that maybe some users would have been happy to translate it as well if they knew it existed.
I don't know whether the article comes with our German relevance criteria: There's a deletion request. That sucks :-(
