A sentence that makes no sense

Hi! The translatable sentence in the MediaWiki:Machinevision-desc/en makes no sense. Here it is:

Interfaces with internal and external machine vision service providers and stores and serves results.

I've highlighted the confusing part. Please fix it and/or at least explain what it tries to say, so that I could translate it correctly.

I assume this is an extension that can take images from MediaWiki (Wikimedia Commons?) and send them to a machine vision service. The machine vision service returns some information about the image (possibly things such as "depicts a domesticated cat, blue sky" or "a domesticated cat playing on a field") and this extensions stores this information in MediaWiki database. It probably also hooks into image pages/search to display this information and/or provides APIs through which this information can be accessed.

Hi Piramidion, I believe that the first word, "interfaces", is the verb (as in "to interface") and not the noun. So, the sentence has three verbs: interfaces, stores, and serves.

Note the first word “Interfaces” is a verb conjugated with third person. The implicit subject is “this extension”, which is also the subject for “stores” and “serves”.

OMG, thanks! These explanations should be on the /qqq subpage (there seem to be quite a bunch of incorrect translations already). I thought that "interfaces" is a noun in the plural form.
