GENDER support needed for User:$3
We do not have a gender for these users; ever.
Still ugly, though. Better rephrase to be more likely to be gender neutral, e.g. «$1 rejected the request of translation permission by "$3"».
The issue will remain nevertheless, not for German and Ripuarian, but for e.g. Slavic languages because $1 stands for a person as well which can be male or female. Examples:
Upper Sorbian: $1 je naprašowanje wot "$3" na powyšenje za přełožowarja wotpokazał
Should better be:
$1 je naprašowanje wot "$3" na powyšenje za {{GENDER:$3|přełožowarja|přełožowarku}} {{GENDER:$1|wotpokazał|wotpokazała}}
There is already GENDER for $1, the username is $2. Or are you saying that the translation of "$1 rejected" or of the noun phrase "request of translation permission by $3" would also depend on $3's gender?
Oh sorry, I simply clicked the link above but then the result view is shown. Therefore I didn't see the GENDER.
According to the qqq description $3 is not a parameter that stands for a user. There are 2 user parameters only, $1 and $2. I don't understand the difference between $1 and $2 and I don't understand either how an affected page ($3) can request to become a translator. For $3, $2 should be used for become a translator. rejected refers IMHO to $1 because $1 is the grammatical subject. The English string uses $2 for GENDER instead.
Something is wrong here. I assume that's the description.
