There are no fixed protocol URLs to Wikimedia projects in the strings as far as I can tell. Wikimedia doesn't make links outside of its scope protocol relative.

Oh, sorry, but I did not understand what you mean, have any adverse effect on it? If it is true, then I suggest only change http://en.wikipedia.org to //en.wikipedia.org, more user-friendly for https users, to avoid jumped out https.
