Change of "page" term on Banjar Wikipedia

Hello, I would like to change the "page" term on Banjar Wikipedia which has been using "tungkaran" to "laman" based on community agreement. Please follow up.

Hello Ezagren, for which message exactly? Is there a special context? And what is the differenct between "tungkaran" and "laman"?

For "Main page" message and its derivatives. "tungkaran" means 'yard', and "laman" means 'page'. When translating the equivalent of "page" for Banjar message a few years ago, the community has not found the translation. However, the most recent Banjar Dictionary published by the official local government agency lists "laman" as the translation for "page".

You can probably simply change it in the messages. Just open the MediaWiki group, go to the "Translated" tab and edit all the messages where it appears.

You can also use Special:SearchTranslations.

Thank you for your translations into Banjar!

Thank you for the advice. However, when I edited a message containing the word "main page" and its derivatives, it was rejected because a warning message appeared stating that my edits were potentially damaging and needed support.

Oh, I understand. Yes, Main page is a bit sensitive. Where was the discussion about it, resulting in community agreement? I want to be extra-sure before changing it.

Previous discussions have been conducted via our community video teleconferencing every month. But we have put it in the Banjar Wikipedia village pump.
