Screen layout glitches in new editing interface page as of today.

Screenshot of lower right edge of a (Ripuarian language) editing selection interface page of twn having glitches, most likely to be attributed to minor CSS deficiencies.

There are few small glitches in the new translation interface page layout:

  1. The looking glass picture next to the "filter" input box is lacking few pixels at its top, as it appears to me.
  2. Two lines below it, there is a word of text clipped almost to its entirety at its lower end.
  3. At the left end of the grey box where the clipped text lives, there is an otherwise unmotivated line having grey, orange and blue colors which could be the likewise clipped top of another box or group of boxes.
  4. While the page was stepwise being built in the browser window, and the CSS was apparently not yet applied by the rendering engine, there was not any space between the label "language" (translated: De Schprooch) and the dropdown link to the right of it. While CSS apparently inserts a very wide space, there should be one for non-CSS-aware browsers as well.

See screenshot. I am aware that I may have listed bogus stuff, please forgive me if so, but I'd rather be picky than miss something which may turn out to be important.

  1. Sometimes happens to me too, but also with the Vector search bar glass, so might depend on something else. No idea if filed.
  2. Should be bugzilla:46065.
  3. That's a completion bar. How would you expect it to be?
  4. I suspect non-CSS browsers won't be supported. For you the problem is just of loading time, isn't it? Those like me and you with slower machines usually have to be patient.

Thank you!

3. That's a completion bar. How would you expect it to be?

Put a label above it, maybe?

4. Yes. Loading time is increasing. I am used to do some parallel work while waiting for some of the larger twn pages @ this system. Slowness is not prohibitive, though.
