"Join" is used on iNat both as a command/imperative mood ("Join" button) and as a transitive verb (Join X). But in many languages the transitive verb requires a preposition (something like "join to") while the imperative does not so they cannot be translated as one. There need to be two entries - just "Join" and "join {x}".
