Hi,

Thanks for joining! It's supremely awesome that you're taking care of Zulu translations!

As for your question: No, there's nothing wrong about using מ־ before an article. It's much more common to use מ־ than מן in modern Hebrew. The full-word מן preposition is only used in some expressions, such as מן הסתם "obviously". מן המניין is also such an expressions, for example in ישיבה לא מן המניין — "an extraordinary meeting", but even this expressions is sometimes written as "מהמניין", and there's nothing wrong about it.

Aha - helpful explanation, good to know. Considering my relative strengths (e.g. proofreading) vs. weaknesses (i.e. lacking authoritative command of "my" acquired languages), I'll focus my reviewing on matters of consistency, e.g. "דף" for "page" rather than "עמוד". And I remain in awe of your capabilities and the scope of your contributions! -- Cheers, Deborahjay (talk) 15:42, 12 March 2018 (UTC)
