Thank you for your contributions to the Faroese translation of Waymarked Trails!

Thank you very much for your contributions to the Faroese translation of Waymarked Trails! Your translations have been deployed for a while now, and you can see them in action on waymarkedtrails.org. It is especially exciting for me to have Faroese in the fold because we use the Waymarked Trails software in a Northern Periphery project called TG4NP.

The only thing that cannot be localised at the moment is the date and time of last update (see upper left) because Django does not have any Faroese localisation files. I'd be happy to assist if you are interested in doing something about that.

Hello Guttorm, thanks for letting me know that. I don't know what Django is, and I don't know what I can do about it, that there is no Faroese localisation there. So you are welcome to assist me there.

Django is the web framework used by Waymarked Trails to make things like translation of the interface easier. It is used by many other sites on the internet and is pretty common. Translation can be done on their Transifex page after having a glance at their documentation. As for the date and time formatting, you can take a look at the Danish version for instance, and see if there are differences in Feroese. I can help you with making those changes.
