Category:Pages using deprecated enclose attributes

This category is hidden by default at the bottom of its member pages in their list of categories, unless you have opted in your preferences to display such hidden categories.

The following pages are tracked and listed in this category because they use the old extended tag (deprecated):

<source lang="..." enclose="div">...</source>, or the recommanded replacement tag:

<syntaxhighlight lang="..." enclose="div">...</syntaxhighlight>

with the deprecated enclose="div" attribute. Syntax highlighting is now only supported within blocks by default (only within a "div" element), and no longer inline.

The syntax highlighter module has been changed in more recent versions of Mediawiki (for performance reasons), and no longer supports inline formatting, or customization of the enclosing HTML element type.

For rendering short code inline, just use

<code>...</code> and colorize its content yourself with styles, if you need it (possibly by using formatting templates).

This tracking category should ideally be empty, but it is used for tracking some errors or other conditions that may occur. It may be populated by templates, or for tracking some issues detected by internal MediaWiki features.
