Category:Pages with ignored display titles

From translatewiki.net
This category is hidden by default at the bottom of its member pages in their list of categories, unless you have opted in your preferences to display such hidden categories.

The following pages are attempting to change their {{DISPLAYTITLE:}} in an unsupported way:

  • you cannot alter the plain-text of the title (or translate it, or change accents and diacritics, or replace some letter variants, or fix any typos) in such a way that this would bring a non-equivalent wikilink (in such a case, the parameter given to {{DISPLAYTITLE:}} is ignored, this builtin MediaWiki parser function is ignored/discarded and the page attempting to do that is listed in this category), and
  • you must preserve the namespace name used in the prefix (or use one of the supported equivalent aliases on this wiki) and in any appended suffix (such as language code suffixes for translated pages ; note that translated pages use other way to customize the title, by marking the translation page to allow translating the page title itself; in such case, DISPLAYTITLE cannot be used at all as it does not allow any translation of the title, that would require keeping the page name and the suffix to be left unchanged and then untranslatable).

But:

  • you may change the capitalization of the namespace prefix anywhere, or the capitalization of just the initial letter of the base page name (not subpage names), and
  • you may add styles using the Mediawiki syntax (bold, italic) or presentational inline HTML tags (e.g. for exponents, subscripts, underlines, smaller/bigger font sizes, colors, or other CSS style attributes).

To fix this error, restore the plain text, and just change the capitalization (where it has no effect on the canonical full pagename), and optionally add presentational inline tags where appropriate (but don't break the page layout for the page's title). If you need other changes, this cannot be done without moving/renaming the page.

This tracking category should ideally be empty, but it is used for tracking some errors or other conditions that may occur. It may be populated by templates, or for tracking some issues detected by internal MediaWiki features.
NotePlease do not delete this category even if it's empty, thank you.
