Exif is a format for storing metadata in image files. A table of Exif data is presented in Metadata section of file pages such as this one. The tags are summarized here and described in further detail in the full specification document.
The aperture of a camera is the hole through which light shines. This message can be translated 'Aperture width'. Note, this is measured in APEX units which is 2*log2(f-number) . See Exif-fnumber (“F Number”) for this value in more traditional units.
