Exif is a format for storing metadata in image files. See this Wikipedia article and the example at the bottom of this page on Commons. The tags are explained briefly and in further detail.
Shutter speed is the time that the camera shutter is open.
This is the shutter speed measured in APEX units (negative base 2 log of shutter speed in seconds). See Exif-exposuretime (“Exposure time
”) for this property in more traditional units of seconds.
