ଯୁକ୍ତାକ୍ଷର (Leading devocalized consonnants in clusters)
Leading devocalized consonnant are represented in Odia script by a inserting a virama diacritic to suppress the implicit vowel; you don't need to enter the implicit vowel a or any explicit dependant vowel to type them in Latin. With this modification they'll form Odia consonnant clusters with the next consonnant. Two frequent consonnant clusters can be typed in Latin more simply using a single Latin consonnant (qa and xa).

Examples at end of the first syllable of some words. The last example with ta+virama, shows a case where the virama does not form a complex cluster combining ta with the following ka, but appears visually as a diacritic on the leading ta.
