In Globalblocking-block-expiry ("Expiration:") what follows the colon; a time and date, a period of time? Is this a text message or an input box?

The user can enter a timestamp on which the block automatically ends or a time period like "1 hour", "2 days", "1 year" etc. But in English language only because the time period is parsed by the underlying OS, not by MediaWiki.

Is it obvious on the interface that the timestamp or time period is in English, so there is no need to adapt the localised message?
