Syncing with messaging.wikia.com

I wonder if there is a easy way to copy system messages from messaging.wikia.com to translatewiki.net. It is somewhat frustrating to a) find there already has been done work on some pages, and I have done it for naught b) my own translations won't get used anytime soon (or anytime late?). As of now, there are over 2500 system messages there for German alone, overwriting the translations done here, some identical, most slightly differing.

You should talk to Wikia. We have nothing to do with the work done there, and my personal opinion is probably something you may be dissatisfied with :).

Hello. We have discussed the messaging.wikia.com topic, recently here in Wikia. Messages that exist on messaging but do not exist in the code are a problem for us, too. So we are working on an automated solution that would merge the messages from messaging.wikia.com into the codebase. Once it's done, you will be able to work with the code exclusively and forget about messaging.wikia.com. Your input on that matter is more than welcome, since making your job easier is our intention, too. :)

As of now, we are not touching messaging.wikia.com. Improvements in that area are on our roadmap, though. I will make sure that you guys are the first to know about the changes. I am closing this case for now.
