Just a note on Nyungar/Noongar or nys,
- that the language does measure time in an equivalent to that of european solar/lunar cycles. Time is measured in a more fluid method aligning with 6 seasonal changes based on natural cycles of the weather and plants response to it.
- Noongar speakers adopted a lot of english language words within the Noongar language, flip side is english speakers in Western Australia frequently use Noongar language making them identifiable from other Australians
- plurals are uncommon
