My name is Amir, and I am one of the site's administrators.
If I understand correctly from your sign-up process, the language into which you are planning to translate is Swahili. Technically, however, you have selected British English as your language. Please select the correct language into which you plan to translate by clicking "British English" at the top of the screen next to your username, and selecting your real language from the list.
In addition, I recommend using the list of projects on your user page to translate the things that are useful to the Swahili Wikipedia.
