It doesn't matter if the HTTPS version of the page exists or if you prefer it over the HTTP one.

If you think that it's better to have a link to HTTPS you should reported somewhere else so that the original English string use it.

You're right that all of the language versions should match. Secure HTTP is better for readers as it protects their privacy and freedom.
