I am Priyantha Weerasinghe. I work for Central Bank of Sri Lanka. As a requirement of my day to day official work I do translations mostly from English to Sinhala, but vice-versa too. I believe that my social responsibility as a Sri Lankan is to help localization of IT resources, for the benefit of rural Sri Lnkans who do not have sufficient knowledge in English and other foreign languages. With that belief in mind, I also contribute to the Open Office localization project.
