Since User:Web comic is successively reverting other translators' edits for not having a consensus, I here propose to build one. I propose "新" (the Kanji for "New") as the translation of this message. The reasons are it is one letter and intuitively understandable for Japanese speakers. I ask our colleague translators to give comments to this proposition. If there is no comment for a week, I will conclude that a consensus is given to my proposition.
