Template:Delete/doc

This is the documentation subpage for the parent Template:Delete page.

Usage:

Indicates there's a pending request to delete the page on which this template was inserted.

Note:

• To see the list of pages with pending deletion requests, see Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Delete.
• Pages containing such requests will be listed of the hidden Category:Candidates for speedy deletion. Do not mass delete these pages without checking them.

Syntax:

• {{Delete|
1 = reason given }}

Parameters:

• 1 = Text explaining the reason for deleting this page. It you don't supply a reason, it will show none, you're strongly encouraged to give one !

Example:

• {{Delete|Unused redirect: typo in page name and incorrect namespace has been fixed...}}
