Usage:

Prefill the basic content a "Category:LanguageName" description page which shows the translated language name (in the user language) and the native language name (autonym) after its recommanded BCP 47-compatible language tag.

Syntax:

• {{Language category|LANG}}

Parameters:

• 1= (required) the preferred language code for the language represented by the category description page in which this template is used (should be a BCP 47 language tag, or a legacy Wikimedia interwiki language code)

Example:

• {{Language category|ar}} gives:

This category is indexing all pages related to the translation into Arabic (“Arabic” ; autonym : “العربية” ; code : ar).

• {{Language category|de}} gives:

This category is indexing all pages related to the translation into German (“German” ; autonym : “Deutsch” ; code : de).

• {{Language category|en}} gives:

This category is indexing all pages related to the translation into English (autonym : “English” ; code : en).

• {{Language category|fr}} gives:

This category is indexing all pages related to the translation into French (“French” ; autonym : “français” ; code : fr).

• {{Language category|und}} gives:

This category is indexing all pages related to the translation into undetermined language (“undetermined language” ; autonym : “und” ; code : und).
