About [[MediaWiki:Centralnotice-start-date/en]]

As message documentation says, Centralnotice-start-date (“Start date (UTC)”) has two different usages.

About the first usage, Centralnotice-start-date (“Start date (UTC)”) is followed by Centralnotice-start-time (“Start time (UTC)”), so it refers date (without time).

Meanwhile, about the second usage, Centralnotice-start-date (“Start date (UTC)”) is followed by a time stamp, so it refers date and time.

I want to translate the former into "開始日", and the latter into "開始日時".

Have a look. What is wrong?

Because "date" has two meanings, it is hard to translate into Japanese. The difference is whether "date" contains "time" or not.

  1. m:Special:CentralNotice - This "Start date" should be translated into "開始日時" (contains "time").
  2. m:Special:CentralNotice?method=listNoticeDetail - This "Start date" should be translated into "開始日" (it doesn't contain "time").

Ah -- good catch. Translate it like date. I'm creating a 'timestamp' field for date/time stuff.

Done. Thanks.
