Add insertables and checks for parameters if not present already for use in iNat project

Hi Nemo and Nike - whats the status on this. By 'can you work on it?' you are referring to Nike, correct Nemo?

Loarie, actually I meant you. :D There are some examples in the translatewiki.git repo which you could imitate, if you want this to proceed faster. Otherwise, we'll get it done... at some point.
