On Project:Autoconfirmed_users it states that every new user on translatewiki is automatically an autoconfirmed user. As a new user even after being added to the "translator" group I can confirm this is not true. This means that either the page Project:Autoconfirmed_users is wrong or that MediaWiki is misconfigured. May somebody check this please?

The German translation is actually wrong/outdated. English text says your account needs to be 14 days old.
