I am not very familar with the internals of the job queue so maybe I am misunderpreting something. 2 points spotted today:

1. count(*) on bw_job gives ~ 220 entries, the oldest from 2012-10-21

2. Using Special:ReplaceText (moving pages) gives an OK by the UI but no action by the job queue, no entries AFAIS.

The job queue MediaWiki core code has been broken, than broken in a different way and then completely broken again since a few days in master, that's probably the cause. I hope it will be fixed for real soon.

I've added Yaron Koren to the bug report. He's the maintainer of ReplaceText. It's bad that job queue was broken without providing BC, IMO.

Yesterday it worked again. No idea what changed and no idea if it will work tomorrow... :-(

Yesterday it worked, today it does not work :-( Bug reopened.
