Kashmiri in Devanagari

Kashmiri in Devanagari

Here I have seen the codes are "ks-deva" and over at the incubator the Devanagari kashmiri is Wp/kas. With Punjabi there is pa.wiki for the Gurmukhi and pnb.wiki for the Shahmukhi. So can it be made as ks for arabic script and kas for Devanagari script? I do not see it as possible to put converters in place as in the Arabic script misses out the vowels also the vocabulary and spelling of words may vary. Please can somebody help me concerning this?

"kas" is wrong for a Kashmiri project (ISO 639-3 while ISO 639-1 exists). That should be ks. http://ks.wikipedia.org already exists, so you should take your free and open knowledge there! :). Wikimedia doesn't create projects for one and the same language in multiple scripts. That is something that should be resolved using script conversion.

P.s. we will not have the discussion about "proper language codes" here. Please take that up with the Wikimedia Language Committee if you disagree with my above statement. I'm sure they are very interested in explaining the Wikimedia policies to you.
