Hi Vibhas,

Tari Buttar asked me to warn you about your behavior. Indeed, calling other user's contributions "rubbish" is wrong, no matter how bad they are, so please stop doing this.

I am not saying that Tari Buttar's translations are correct and that yours are wrong, or vice versa, because I don't know Punjabi. But I do say that you must work here in mutual respect. This site cannot function otherwise. Further nonconstructive arguments and personal attacks may get both of you blocked.

I suggest you both take your arguments to the Punjabi Wikipedia's discussion pages and sort it out there with the help of other community members.

Warn me for removing understandable words and restoring the words that had been there years and years, it is even visible in the Punjabi wikipedia's sister projects that the translations I wrote over his were used before and he is telling me to get consensus for the original words?

I do not see in any good world where ਫਰਮਾ means template? It is an urdu word that means "to talk in a high manner". It may have been imported into Punjabi but it defiantly does not in any good world mean template. If it is such a massive problem to ask him to gain consensus before he overrides the words that have been there first.

If you did not notice I talked to him here and at pa.wiki and so did others but he refused to listen.

As for calling it rubbish, please tell me if I go to change the english "template" to "talkhighmanner" what is it called, I would believe that to be rubbish. I do not understand logically how it can be considered a contribution? Have a look he also called Hindi a rubbish language.

I do not see how I am to be blamed for this as I'm just trying to restore and repair the terms to that the people can understand.

VibhasKS (talk)14:20, 25 November 2012

Yes - please avoid using words like "rubbish" even if you are sure that the other user is wrong.

The only right way to solve this conflict is to discuss it with other editors of the Punjabi Wikipedia.

Thank you for understanding.

Amir E. Aharoni (talk)14:30, 25 November 2012

I tried to discuss it with him, the editors also told him, but he is still too stubborn to listen, therefore please protect the translations with the original words that I restored until there is some kind of support for such words, by warning me like this you are denying Punjabi speakers the asset of Wikipedia to their language because gibberish un understandable words are all over the place.

VibhasKS (talk)14:46, 25 November 2012

If you mean bugzilla:41350 etc., there doesn't seem to be a clear agreement that you're right.

Sat Sri Akaal! If you know Punjabi consider checking the differences between "talk" and "discussion". And stop blaming copy other wikis bcz when it was did I never visited the western Punjabi wikipedia. In fact you're copying Hindi wiki at a high rate; in every word, which is crystal clear. Also you're spreading hate and insulting users here and on the wiki too. You've to learn how to talk to your fellow wikipedians. And if you know Punjabi it must be already know to you the difference between talk and discussion.

tari Buttar (talk)15:35, 23 November 2012

Hindi and Punjabi are close related languages I know very well that you hate this fact but now it is time for your activism to stop, your stupid words are un-understandable to Eastern Punjabis and users have pointed out you using all the Bindis wrongly. It is you who infact is copying the English and Western Punjabi wikipedia at a higher rate, so please gain consensus for your words before you add rubbish over the words that has been there for years. Regarding the wiki, you and Zarienah have been examined by several outside users and she has changed while you on the other hand have not. If you were such a great user and Punjabi speaker and were that much of a leader of the community, you would have still been the admin today. But clearly not. So please start making amends now.
