In message ratings-par-incsummary ("Show a summary of the current votes above the rating element?"), I am uncertain how to translate "rating element".

Also, there are two ways at least how to translate "rating". It could be like what you have in schools to describe pupils knowledge and skillls, and it could be what the less free societies use to marginalize or stigmatize nudity, sexuality, porn or other religious or political "disobedience". Which kind of rating is this about? Thanks.

A rating element is a graphical element on a page in which a page property can be rated.

The rating is about scoring a page property, it is subjective, not normative.
